Hey Guys,

  I will be featured in a series of online Concept Design workshops with (CGMW) CG Master Workshops. I will be doing a Creature Design workshop on Saturday Oct, 2. The workshop is only $25 and will be streamed and available the entire day for 24hrs. I will also be doing a 1hr live QandA that same day. Carlo Arellano (Insomiac),Nico Marlet (Dreamworks), James Paick (Naughty Dog) ,KeKai Kotaki (NCsoft), Patrick Faulwetter (Gotachman), and Peter Han (Trion Network) will also be doing some workshops throughout the month of Sept-Oct. Some paintings from the Bill's workshop

Towards the end I finally got some faces in. I got a looong way to go to get better at this... I was really trying to focus on getting accurate color, Bill always stressed this in the class. Forget about likeness for now and just focus on the color.

Bill Perkins Color Workshop

Since I had more free time I had the opportunity to attend Bill's color workshop at Atelier Marchant (thanks Matt for letting me know about this class!!). I had a great time learning from a really good teacher, it was an awesome experience. It was also an awesome group of people I had an opportunity to hang out with. I have never painted this much... 25 paintings in 5 days, some people had more (sorry I am a slacker lol).  Most of my paintings had no faces coz I was really slow. Most of the paintings were 40-50 min with a break in between and we just did one after another until the class was done (9AM-8PM) it was insane.. for me anyway. So in a day we would have 6-7 paintings. I learned a lot. I need to paint some more ...

THE GIG IS UP

I am sure most of you guys know about the news yesterday. Now its official, the Offset/Intel project is no longer in development at Intel. Check out the links if you haven't read it already.....that was 3 1/2 years for me, time goes by soo fast
